Mum: NO, DONT WEAR THAT.
Me: Why not? You just said, something you don't like!
Mum: I like Power Rangers, wear some other shit I don't like.
Happiness needs sadness. Success needs failure. Benevolence needs evil. Love needs hatred. Victory needs defeat. Pleasure needs pain.
You must experience and accept the extremes. Because if the contrast is lost, you lose appreciation; and when you lose appreciation, you lose the value of everything.

I’m not one of those girls who can write perfect lyrics. Or the ones who can come up with those ‘amazing’ quotes. I can’t make things rhyme, or put things into sync. But what I do manage to jot down are just emotions. It’s really just that simple, no complications to it. My emotions are what they appear to be. It is what it is.

I want someone to blow me away with his passion.
For him to take me to places I’ve never been before.
Someone who’ll make me feel on top of the world.
Accept me for my flaws, quirks, and all that jazz.
A person who’s real, who won’t change for me.
Because then, I can love him for who he really is.
Love for who he is, not what you think you can make him to be.
